Welcome to my whimsical world

All my artwork is created using a painterly Monotype process. I use this technique as it allows me be a bit more accurate in my composition whilst allowing me to be creative with texture using my favourite black ink.

Each of these pieces are one offs printed onto beautiful Fabriano, Strathmore or Snowdon papers.

About Elise Pilkington

Hi! I’m Elise and welcome to my world of animals in print. I am a crazy Whippet lady, second generation and I have always enjoyed drawing animals, It was something I grew up doing with my mum. I enjoy creating delicate, textured designs in black and white which I can turn into gift ware for you to share and enjoy.

My love of animals also comes from my mum, I grew up in a crazy house full of pets, but most notably Hounds, and lots of them! This is something I have continued to share with my lovely husband, we are now the proud pawrents of five whippets, all of which we have bred ourselves, you will see a lot of them in my life and work.
